Over time, the circular grey EEG covers on the inside of your Somnee headband may fall off and expose the gold metal underneath. If this happens, don't worry -- there's no cause for alarm. This won't affect your Somnee's performance.

However, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the EEG sensors with an alcohol wipe every few days. This helps reduce the possibility of particles building up on the sensor, which can cause skin irritation or allergic reactions for those who may be sensitive or allergic to the materials.
