Make sure the headband feels snug, but comfortable. &#xA0;It should be tight enough that you can&#x2019;t easily slide it around your head, but not so tight that you feel discomfort.</div></div><div data-block="true" data-editor="a12pj" data-offset-key="6bttf-0-0"><div data-offset-key="6bttf-0-0">2. Make sure electrodes are securely attached.&#xA0;Sometimes the electrode may not fully click into the flex clip until you wiggle/move it a little. When correctly seated, you&#x2019;ll hear a &#x201C;click&#x201D;. The electrode will not be able to slide sideways on the flex clip, instead remaining fixed.&#xA0;<a href="https://attachments.gorgias.help/8X1Bk7dKvb2KgRm0/hc/Q9r0k7BZnl7vg13y/2024052200-387a5873-ff12-4aa6-832d-96098a48c98b-somnee_electrode_attach-4bfc5be1-bb0b-4aba-bd16-cabd74945776.mp4" rel="noopener noreferrer" style=" text-decoration: none !important;" target="_blank">*Please click here for a quick video to show how to properly snap in the electrodes to minimize contact issues.</a></div></div><div data-block="true" data-editor="a12pj" data-offset-key="bfktk-0-0"><div data-offset-key="bfktk-0-0">3. Gently press on the electrodes to ensure good contact.&#xA0;Once you&#x2019;ve put on the headband and attached the flex clip, apply gentle pressure on the sides of the flex clip so that the electrodes stick well on your skin. Make sure there is no skin creams or hair under the electrodes as that can cause uncomfortable sensation.</div></div><div data-block="true" data-editor="a12pj" data-offset-key="d1uii-0-0"><div data-offset-key="d1uii-0-0">4. Replace electrodes every 4th night.&#xA0;Swap the electrodes out for fresh ones every 4th night. During the winter months, you may want to change them out every 2 nights to account for shifting weather that can affect gel quality. Store your electrodes in a drawer (cool/dark place) to keep them from drying.</div></div><div data-block="true" data-editor="a12pj" data-offset-key="ccf0t-0-0"><div data-offset-key="ccf0t-0-0">5. Restart the app and device.&#xA0;Completely close out of the app and then hold down the button on the bottom of your Somnee headband for 8 seconds. Make sure your Somnee is charged.*Pro Tip: Place your headband on the charging mound after finishing your 15-minute stim session to ensure a full charge for tomorrow night.&#xA0;2. Your Somnee headband should connect automatically upon opening the Somnee App on your phone/tablet.*If the device doesn&apos;t connect, completely close the app. Go to your settings and check that Bluetooth is enabled in your Somnee app permissions. When you relaunch the Somnee App, the headband should then connect automatically.3. Attach a pair of gel electrodes to the flex clip.&#xA0;*For the best performance, you&apos;ll need to replace your electrodes every 3 nights.3a. With the electrode package sleeve in one hand, take your flex clip and align the metal hole with the metal knob on the back of an electrode.&#xA0;3b. Gently push the flex clip onto the metal knob until you feel and hear it &quot;snap&quot; into place. If the flex clip doesn&#x2019;t slide off the electrode, you&#x2019;ve successfully attached the electrode.3c. Once attached, use your thumb to lift the edge of the electrode and peel it off the plastic film in the sleeve.&#xA0;3d. Repeat steps 1-4 for the other side.&#xA0;3e. Once attached, rotate the electrodes by the edge so they align with the flex clip.&#xA0;4. Put on your Somnee headband.&#xA0;4a. Align the center of the headband with the bridge of your nose. The bottom of the headband should sit just above your eyebrows.4b. Adjust the band so it feels snug, but comfortable.&#xA0; *Once you tighten the band the first time, you won&apos;t need to re-adjust when taking it off or putting it on.5. Snap the flex clip into the top of the headband. Gently press the electrodes onto your forehead to ensure they&apos;re making full contact and lying flat against your skin.*Wash and fully dry your face to ensure clean skin before using Somnee. Make sure all hair is clear from your forehead when you place the electrodes. If strands of hair get trapped under the electrode, it can cause light discomfort during the stimulation.&#xA0;**If there are any acne, blisters, or skin blemishes where the gel electrodes are supposed to be placed, please wait until they&apos;ve healed before using Somnee.6.
